Easter Egg Hunt April 11th 2009

The kids were so excited for the Easter Egg Hunt to start. The weather was B E A utiful! All we had to do was wait for the fire truck to blow it's horn. The following video shows what happened next!

So it turns out Alexus really wanted Easter Eggs - there were only five total eggs the rest was just candy on the ground. So what was supposed to be a fabulous time turned into something pretty traumatic. We decided to hit the Easter Egg Hunt in the next town which happened to start an hour later. As soon as we drove up we knew we had come the to the right place. Plastic Easter Eggs as far as the eye could see.

Here she is waiting for the next Hunt. The weather had taken a serious turn for the worst. It was cold and started to rain right before it started

Success! A full basket of Easter eggs! I will do anything to see a smile in my my baby girls face.

Hansen Planetarium April 11th 2009

After the Easter Egg hunts we went to the planetarium with daddy. It was way fun we watched a 3-D movie called Under the Sea and learned about all sorts of interesting sea creatures. After the movie Alexus played with all the interactive things they had for kids.

She pretended to be a weather "Lady"
Next she pretended to be an astronaut and float on the moon.
Last but not least she was a martian doing an arabesque.

Finally warm enough to play out side

The weather has finally gotten warm enough to play outside. Alexus didn't have any friends to play with so she "pretended" they were there.

It's a good thing she had on all her protective gear because when she "pretended" to fall those knee pads sure saved her knees

Great trip to the dentist March 4th 2009

Alexus is so good at the dentist. We go to "A Childs Smile" and it is the cutest place for kids. It has a beach theme and TV's in the ceiling.


She used to scream in the chair and I would have to hold her. Now she is such a big girl and lets the Dentist floss her teeth.

No cavities!!!!!

The girls could hardly wait for the day of the "Tea Party". There was so much to do to get ready for the "Grand" event. Like naps, gowns, gloves and most importantly jewels. It was so cute watching them get ready they were so serious about there outfits.

California February 2009 post # 2

On Saturday we all went to Kids Space Children s Museum. This is Sherman the box turtle. Alexus is always pretending to be a turtle or a sea horse. When they said she could pet it she was so excited.

Alexus and Ava had a lot of fun riding bikes on the little road. All the kids had to wear helmets. Ava's head was very protected Alexus' hair was very protected.

The girls played for hours. They climbed through a tree like ants. They played with water - Alexus made sure she didn't get a drop on her. She hates getting wet!
When we were done at Kid's Space we walked across the parking lot and watched the end of the bike race that Lance Armstrong was in. I know I saw him I think he was wearing one of the yellow helmets!?!? It was fun to just be there with all the hype!

California here we come February 2009 post #1

Alexus and I made a trip to California to see the Dorny's. Friday while Debbie and Ammon went to work Alexus, Ava and I went to the beach. It was a beautiful day and the girls had a blast.

The girls weren't really interested in the water. But they had fun looking for Sea Shells and burying body parts in the sand

What's Up Doc??

We have a pink doctors kit and a blue doctors kit that Alexus and Jace love to play with.

They took turns "dying" on the "bed".

The bed was this little stool in the bathroom. It was so funny listening to them save each other!

Walking with Dinosaurs January 17th 2009

When I heard that Walking with Dinosaurs was coming to Salt Lake I thought "oh that would be too scary". Well we ended up getting tickets and going with Angela, TJ, Kim and Jace.

We took TRAX downtown and had dinner at the Gateway.

It was not too scary at all. Everyone had a great time!

A Princess Party - That only Princes attended!

We spent a few days between Christmas and New Years and aunt Nancy and uncle Georges Midway House. My Mom and Dad, Theresa and her boys, me and Alexus and Kevin were invited up to relax and enjoy each others company. So Monday morning we were sitting around talking about when we should celebrate Alexus' birthday. I said "it's too bad I didn't bring her presents up with me"..... The rest is history!
